Thanks to the efforts of Eloy Rodriguez, Ph.D., and the late Juan Francisco Lara, Ph.D., the University of California, Irvine, was able to receive funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to initiate the California Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP-CAMP).
